Keep a complete thought
A short clip should introduce its subject. An opening 'therefore' or an ending before the explanation can leave important context missing.
Preserve qualifications in claims and quotations. A shorter excerpt must not reverse the speaker's meaning.

A suggestion identifies a possible passage. Rendering creates a video file. Publishing to a platform is another step.

This workflow needs your video file. A YouTube URL does not replace the upload.
